The team of officers were painted as heroes, but according to The Intercept - who conducted a two-year investigation, interviewing 18 current and former SEALS - officers on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan began seeking serious revenge on their enemies, leading them to commit some dark acts. SEAL Team 6 was the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group and was part of a team that took down Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
